Did not post anything for almost 2 months, because I was buried by work… I’ve been longing for the summer break since Dec last year!!
The highlight of Feburary is my first ever oversea sketch trip with the UrbanSketchers Singapore members at Bangkok, Thailand. It was a 2-day event organized by the Bangkok sketchers as part of the community festival that celebrate a heredity area next to the Chao Phraya River. I am impressed by the hospitality and the organization of the BKK sketchers. I enjoyed the experience very much and would sure be back to BKK!
watercolor is so fun to play with… i usually started by simply dropping colors onto the paper… then the idea and form would slowly develop and evolve… and the final result is usually a nice surprise..
i was inspired by the phrase ‘artist’s wind’ in this one…
Little Blue Bird and The Magic Feather is a story about a little young bird who loves to sing, but is very shy and anxious to sing in front of others. The story is written for pre- school children of age 3 to 5. I wrote this last month as part of my course assignment..
Joined the Urban Sketchers Singapore for a 2-day art event…The following original sketches were submitted for exhibition and is on sale at the Viridian Art House (opposite Liang Court, at the foothills of Fort Canning Park) from 15 – 16 Dec.
I created 4 new Christmas-theme sketches especially for this event…
Nov has been a crazy busy month and I haven’t been able to post anything here…looking forward to Dec when I’ll have more time to draw :)
Made this for the final artwork presentation of the studio class…its inspired by how different people think what ‘knowledge’ is…
