Bukit Timah Plaza is a pretty old shopping complex, but you can find all kinds of stores there. My friend took me there for Laksa last time. This time, it already passed lunch time when I arrived, and all the laksa and prawn noodles were sold out. I ordered a cup of ‘hot tea’, which is actually milk tea, so that I can sit down and sketch. While sketching, I overheard the ladies in front saying that this place has very nice Nonya desserts too.
Looking down from the dining area, you can see this stall that sells drinks and snacks called “Snack Gallery”.
On my way home, I found a small road that leads to the railway track behind the bus stop opposites Bukit Timah Plaza. No train is using the tracks now, as the train station has already moved to Woodlands on 1st July. Instead, a lot of people were taking photos on the railway track. The road Jalan Bingka lies next to the railway track. I found this area quite interesting, and stopped to do a sketch before the sky turns dark.
