Now that the MRT circle line was opened, it is very easy to get to Holland Village. This also mean that it’d be more crowded than before! I was there last friday evening and it was sooo crowded – all the restaurants and streets seem to be packed with people!
I managed two sketches while waiting for a table. The first one is a sketch of the Crystal Jade Kitchen, we had dinner here a few times already and it was pretty good. This time, I decided to wait for a table at Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao, a sister restaurant just next to it. There is always a long queue lining up there and they don’t take reservations so we haven’t dined there yet. As I was there about an hour earlier that night, I decided to wait for a table, and finally got it after around 45 min wait.
The second sketch, I decided to do the windmill again. This is the third time I was sketching this building already. The first time was during my first official outing with the USGSK group, and the second time was while dinning at Crystal Jade Kitchen in September.
